Brett finished first in the 100-meter high hurdles with a time of 14.96 seconds, a SUNY Cortland facility record and No. 2 all-time on the Blue Devil women's record board. She also set a school record in the 400 meter hurdles -- 1:04.07 -- while finishing second in the event. Both times provisionally qualified Brett for the NCAA Division III championships. In other women's events Saturday, Jackie Majka was third in the high jump (1.61 meters/5' 3 1/2") and sixth in the triple jump (10.72 meters/35' 2") with personal-best efforts in both events. Jessica Tucker was seventh in the high jump (1.46 meters/4' 9 1/2"). Also, Trish Ippolito ran the 1,500 meters in a personal-best 4:59.24, good for seventh place. The Blue Devil women scored 71 points over two days of competition and finished fifth out of eight teams. It was their highest point total in five seasons. On the men's side, Geoffrey Lesch-Wragge finished second in the 800 meters in a time of 1:55.65 while Nick Guarino was fourth in 1:56.10. Josh Guarino ran a personal-best 9:40.47 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase to finish second. In field events, Mike Kelley was third in the triple jump (13.70 meters/44' 11 1/2") and Greg Craft was eighth in the pole vault (3.96 meters/12' 11 3/4"). -------
