Sophomore Jackie Majka (Depew) finished first in the long jump with a collegiate best 17 feet, one-half inch. She also had a collegiate-best 35' 1" in the triple jump, finishing fifth, and finished fourth in the high jump. Freshman Kate Brett (Webster/Webster-Schroeder) won the 400-meter hurdles in 1:05.56 and was fifth in the 100-meter hurdles, while senior Nicole C. Smith (Amherst) was first in the 400 meters in 1:00.21. In addition to the three winners, freshman Rachel Fox (Johnson City) ran a SUNYAC-qualifying 13:12 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. On the men's side, junior Aaron Borowczyk (Fredonia/Foresteville) sprinted two SUNYAC-qualifying times -- :23.43 in the 200 meters and :52.65 in the 400 meters. Meanwhile, freshman Josh Guarino (Bergen/Byron-Bergen) finished fourth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (9:50.5) and senior Justin Schwab (Killbuck/Salamanca) was fourth in the high jump (6' 1 1/4"). Next meet for the Blue Devils is Saturday at the Slippery Rock Invitational. -------
