Bertrando named SUNYAC Player of the Week

FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Fredonia State sophomore Amy Bertrando (Westfield/Westfield NY) has been named State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Player of the Week for the week ending October 1.

Bertrando had a .405 hitting percentage in four matches at the Oneonta Tournament as the Blue Devils went 3-1. She had 61 kills, averaging 5.08 a game, including a 19-kill (.720 hit%), three-block performance in a 3-0 win against Skidmore. She also averaged .75 blocks a game.
