Behrend (17-7) had a 3-1 advantage in sets (30-24, 27-30, 30-21 and 30-25). The Blue Devils, 21-6 and ranked No. 4 in the most recent New York State Women's Collegiate Athletic Associaiton poll, were led by Stephanie Degolier (Cassadaga/Cassadaga Valley) with 18 kills. JaHanna Dixon (Hamburg/Frontier) added 11 kills and 13 digs. This was the team's last home match of the season and final home match for seniors Liz Schaller (Marilla/St. Mary's) and Traci Pieczynski (Lancaster/St. Mary's). Schaller finished with 13 kills and three service aces. Pieczynski dished out 45 assists. The Devils next travel to the University of Rochester on Tuesday, Oct. 18.
