Devils ranked No. 4 in New York region

FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Fredonia State received regional recognition Tuesday in the latest NCAA Division III volleyball rankings.

The Blue Devils (21-7) are listed at No. 4 in the NCAA D-III New York regional poll.

It is the highest the team has been ranked in Geoff Braun's tenure as head coach, and is believed to be the highest the team has ever been ranked regionally.

Braun is in his seventh season as head coach.

In addition to the regional ranking, the Blue Devils are ranked No. 4 in the New York State Women's Collegiate Athletic Association poll released Monday.

They are back in action this weekend at the SUNYAC Western Division Pool Play tournament at Oswego.
