Final scores of the games were 30-22 Fredonia State, 31-29 Fisher, 30-28 Fredonia State, and 30-17 and 15-5 Fisher. Sophomore Leanne Maloney (West Seneca/Mt. Mercy) was Fredonia State's top hitter with 17 kills, while senior Stephanie DeGolier (Cassadaga/Cassadaga Valley), playing in her final home match, added 11 kills. The Blue Devils (16-15) had five women with double-figure digs, led by Maloney with 17. In addition, junior JaHanna Dixon (Hamburg/Frontier) and sophomore Alyssa Torpy (West Henrietta/Rush-Henrietta) had 13 digs each, sophomore Katie Schaller (Marilla/St. Mary's) collected 12 digs, and sophomore Val Grell (Lancaster/Lancaster) added 11 digs. Torpy, the Fredonia State main setter, was credited with 45 assists. The Blue Devils are idle until Nov. 2 when they meet Cortland at 3 p.m. in the first round of the SUNYAC Tournament at SUNY Brockport.
