Senior middle hitter Elizabeth Schaller (Marilla/St. Mary's) and freshman outside hitter Amy Bertrando (Westfield/Westfield) had 12 and 11 kills, respectively, for the Blue Devils, who won the matches by scores of 30-18, 30-23 and 30-25. In addition, junior middle hitter Stephanie DeGolier (Cassadaga/Cassadaga Valley) added nine kills. Ten players had at least one kill each in a balanced attack. Schaller, sophomore defensive specialist Paula Baire (Lancaster/Nardin), and freshman defensive specialist Val Grell (Lancaster/Lancaster) had six digs each. In addition, Schaller had a team-high four service aces, and senior setter Traci Pieczynski (Lancaster/St. Mary's) had 33 assists.
