Devils stay hot with win at Pitt-Bradford

BRADFORD, Pa. -- Fredonia State improved to 8-2 with a 30-9, 30-26, 30-24 victory Wednesday at Pitt-Bradford.

Amy Bertrando (Westfield/Westfield) and JaHanna Dixon (Hamburg/Frontier) had 12 kills each.

In addition, Alyssa Torpy (West Henrietta/Rush-Henrietta) had team highs in assists, with 13, and digs, with seven. Allyson Strein (Mineola/Mineola) added six digs.

The Blue Devils face a large task over the weekend at the Rochester Institute of Technology Tournament, where they will face Buffalo State and RIT on Friday. Several teams ranked in the New York State Women's Collegiate Athletic Association poll are entered.

The Blue Devils are No. 5 in the NYSWCAA rankings.
