Fisher (2-0) took command in the first half leading 39-23 at the break. The Devils (1-1) were led by Maria Scaffidi (Buffalo/Holy Angels) with 12 points, including a trio of three pointers. Sophomore Cheryl Kindzia (Williamsville/Williamsville North) chipped in nine points and a game-high 11 rebounds. Karolyn Baker (Olean/Olean) distributed three assists and had three steals. Amy Bertrando (Westfield/Westfield) had eight points off the bench. Fisher was led by Kathy Baum's 26 points. Baum connected on six three pointers. Melissa Hartman added 13 points. Kindzia, who scored 30 points in Friday's win over Lycoming, was named to the all-tournament team. For Fisher, Baum was named tournament MVP and Hartman and Jen Lardo made the all tournament squad. The Devils travel to D'Youville on Tuesday, Dec. 22. The game is slated for a 6 p.m. start and will be followed by the men's game at 8 p.m.
