Devils done in from beyond the arc
GENESEO, N.Y. -- Fredonia State was outscored 27-6 from three-point range in its 54-43 SUNYAC road loss to Geneseo.
The Blue Devils (7-13, 2-10 SUNYAC) were 2 of 16 from beyond arc compared to 9 of 25 by the Blue Knights (12-11, 10- 4 SUNYAC). Geneseo's Annie Verdino was 3 of 4 and finished with a game-high 15 points, while teammate Tracy Wangelin came off the bench to knock down three of five treys.
Fredonia State's Cheryl Kindzia had 14 points and seven rebounds. She was the only Blue Devil to score in double figures.
