Devils win at Buffalo State

BUFFALO, N.Y. – Fredonia State improved to 6-5 in the SUNYAC with a 59-45 road win at Buffalo State.

Freshman Cheryl Kindzia (Williamsville/Williamsville North) led the Blue Devils (11-7 overall) with 15 points. It was her fourth straight game scoring in double figures.

Freshman Danielle Bleecker (Pittsford/Pittsford Mendon) and sophomore Karolyn Baker (Olean/Olean) had 11 points each. Bleecker also grabbed a team-high eight rebounds.

Senior Amanda Neamon (Arcade/Pioneer) added 10 points while senior Heather Martin (Allegany/Allegany-Limestone) grabbed seven rebounds and had a team-high seven assists.

Fredonia State had a 29-12 advantage in points off turnovers.

The loss dropped Buffalo State to 8-12 overall, 5-6 in the SUNYAC.
