Devils get back on winning track vs. Potsdam

POTSDAM, N.Y. – Fredonia State earned a split of its two-game trip into north country with a 72-51 SUNYAC road win over the Potsdam Bears.

Sophomore Melissa Howlett (Avon/Honeoye Falls-Lima) was one of three players scoring in double figures for the Blue Devils. She had 14 points, freshman Cheryl Kindzia (Williamsville/Williamsville North) added 13, and senior Amanda Neamon (Arcade/Pioneer) had a double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds.

Senior Katie Estes (Olean/Olean) added 10 rebounds for Fredonia State, which fell Friday at Plattsburgh. The Blue Devils return home for their next game, Jan. 28, vs. SUNYIT.

Kathleen Lewis had 17 points and Clare Ennis added 15 for the Bears (1-14, 0-7).
