Balanced scoring sends Devils over SUNYIT

UTICA, N.Y. – Four players scored in double figures Saturday in Fredonia State's 58-50 road win over SUNYIT.

Seniors Heather Martin (Allegany/Allegany-Limestone) and Amanda Neamon (Arcade/Pioneer) had 13 points each to lead the Blue Devils (12-9, 7-6 SUNYAC).

Freshmen Cheryl Kindzia (Williamsville/Williamsville North) and Danielle Bleecker (Pittsford/Pittsford Mendon) added 11 points each.

With 13 rebounds, Neamon recorded her fourth straight double-double and her eighth of the season. Kindzia added nine rebounds while Bleecker was credited with eight steals.

The Blue Devils led 30-29 at halftime.

Next game for Fredonia State is 6 p.m. Tuesday at Steele Hall vs. Buffalo State.
