Conference stats released Monday show the Blue Devils (4-2, 2-1) as SUNYAC's best team in defending the three-point shot. Opponents have made 13 of 95 attempts from beyond the arc, a success rate of 13.7 percent. The Blue Devils' effort on defense is also evident in other categories. The team is second in SUNYAC in blocked shots (3.67 per game). They are also third in scoring defense, having allowed opponents an average of 52.7 points per game. In addition, the Blue Devils are second in scoring margin, with an average of 8.8 points more per game than their opponents. The are also second in defensive rebounding with an average of 28.0 per game. Individually, several players are ranked in top 10 among the conference category leaders. Among them are freshman Danielle Bleecker (Pittsford/Pittsford-Mendon), whose No. 2 in SUNYAC in free-throw percentage (14 of 15, .933).
