Blackman tallies winner

ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- A goal by Mimi Blackman (Pittsford/Pittsford Mendon) three-and-a-half-minutes into the second half carried Fredonia State over RIT, 1-0, Saturday afternoon.

Danielle Bleecker (Pittsford/Pittsford Mendon) assisted.

Becky Scroger (Spencerport/Spencerport) made four saves for her sixth shutout of the season.

The victory completes the regular season for the Blue Devils (10-7-1). The squad opens up the SUNYAC Tournament at Geneseo on Tuesday. Geneseo had defeated the Blue Devils 1-0 on Oct. 20.
