Nazareth's Kristina Cristofori scored her 12th goal of the season during the second minute of the second half to provide the only scoring. The Blue Devils (11-7-4) were outshot, 19-5, and were at a 10-1 disadvantage in corner kicks. Freshman goalkeeper Becky Scoger (Spencerport/Spencerport) made eight saves in her 22 straight start. She played every minute of every game during the season. Senior midfielder Anita Salinas (Rochester/Greece Athena) was credited with three shots in her final collegiate game for the Blue Devils. Other seniors playing their final women's soccer game were Jamie Pricola (Brockport/Brockport), Danielle Rawcliffe (Rochester/Ironequoit), Erin Schurr (Hamburg/Hamburg), Jessica Weiser (Rochester/Greece Athena), and Amy Wenzel (Elma/Ironquois). The Blue Devils were attempting to match the 1994 team as only the second women's soccer team in school history to win 12 games in a single season.
