Women's Soccer

Bleecker nets pair in 3-2 road loss

SEWANEE, Tenn. -- The women's soccer team concluded its trip to Tennessee with a 3-2 loss to the University of the South.

Danielle Bleecker (Pittsford/Pittsford Mendon) scored both goals for the Blue Devils, each coming in the first half. Bleecker's first goal was assisted by Christa Morgante (East Amherst/Williamsville East). The second score came on a free kick.

Becky Scroger (Spencerport/Spencerport) played all 90 minutes in goal for Fredonia State.

The Devils (1-1-0) next action is Sept. 7 and 8 when they open up the new campus soccer stadium with the Days Inn Tournament.
