Mistakes costly in loss to Roberts Wesleyan

ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Fredonia State fell to 6-3-1 on the season with a 2-0 loss to Roberts Wesleyan.

The Raiders moved to 10-2 on the season with two first-half goals.

“I thought we played really well,” Fredonia State coach Chris Case said. “We made two bad mistakes, something that we’re going to learn from. They capitalized on both.

“It was disappointing, we only made two mistakes in the game and ended up losing.”

The Blue Devils, unbeaten in SUNYAC play at 3-0, plays host to conference pre-season favorite Oneonta at 4 p.m. Friday on the Brigham Road Field.
