Carolyn Amirpashie scored for St. Mary's at 16:12 of the first half. The hosts made the one goal stand and limited the Blue Devils (0-1-0) to five shots in the game. Marie Oben made one save to earn the shutout. At the other end, Fredonia State freshman goalkeeper Becky Scroger (Spencerport/Spencerport) was credited with three saves in her first collegiate game. Anita Salinas (Rochester/Greece Athena) took two of the five shots by the Blue Devils while Danielle Bleecker (Pittsford/Pittsford Mendon) was credited with the lone shot-on-goal.
