Senior Katie Remus (Grand Island/Grand Island) accounted for both Fredonia State goals. With those two scores, Remus finishes with 60 career points, second on the school's all-time list. Former teammate Jen Robinson (1999-2002) had 61 points. RIT's Anna Kolnik opened the scoring, when she chipped in a loose ball in front of the net in the 26th minute. Remus tied the game at 1-all six minutes later with her seventh score of the season. Tracy Grimes (Rochester/Greece Olympia) assisted. The Tiger's Kate Cassim gave RIT its second lead of the game off a corner kick early in the second half. Remus again forged a tie when she scored off a penalty kick with 1:25 left in regulation. The teams played a scoreless first overtime before Alaina Chorney ended the game in the 108th minute with a header off a free kick from teammate Heather Kelly. Brianna Falvey (Chittenango/Chittenango) made seven saves for the Blue Devils. The Tigers improve to 6-9-2. Fredonia State finishes its season 8-8-2. Athletics Home | Fredonia Home
