Weiser, Falvey move up the charts

UTICA, N.Y. – Junior forward Jessica Weiser (Rochester/Greece Athena) moved up two all-time scoring lists by scoring both goals in Fredonia State's 2-0 SUNYAC victory over SUNYIT.

Weiser's pair gave her six goals this season, to go along with four assists, for a team-leading 16 total points. In the process, she tied Shelley Graml for seventh in career points (46) and fifth in career goals (20).

Freshman forward Linsay Kulas (Rochester/Aquinas Institute) and junior forward Amy Wenzel (Elma/Iroquois) each picked up an assist for the Blue Devils (6-3-1, 2-1-0).

Weiser wasn't alone in her assault of the Fredonia State record book. Senior goalkeeper Brianna Falvey (Chittengango/Chittenango) made four saves to record her 14th career shutout and tie Jen White for the all-time Fredonia State mark. It was Falvey's fourth shutout of the season.

The Blue Devils, who outshot SUNYIT 28-4, are idle until Oct. 1.
