Summerville, Daigler stay unbeaten in singles competition

FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Two Fredonia State freshmen remained unbeaten in singles competition during the Blue Devils' 6-3 loss Wednesday to Penn State Behrend.

Sierra Summerville (Mexico/Mexico) improved to 4-0 with a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Susan Cooper in No. 5 singles.

Elise Daigler (North Tonawanda/North Tonawanda) is 3-0 at the No. 6 singles position following her 6-1, 6-3 victory over Amy Frizzell.

Summerville and Daigler also combined for Fredonia State's third point with an 8-4 win over Frizzell and Cooper at No. 3 doubles.
