Women's Tennis

Oneonta nets win over Devils

FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Oneonta State produced a 9-0 sweep of the Fredonia State women's tennis team on Saturday.

Michelle Kuznicki (Hamburg/Cheektowaga) delivered the Devil's best perfomance in the day, taking Oneonta's Savanah Keicher to three sets before falling, 6-1, 6-7 (7-4), 6-4.

The doubles team of sophomores Elise Daigler (North Tonawanda/North Tonawanda) and Sierra Summerville (Mexico/Mexico) gave Zirka Markewycz and Dana Kuroski a battle, before falling 8-6 in the No. 2 doubles slot.

The Devils conclude the regular season Tuesday at the Steele Hall courts vs. Brockport .
