Topping the list was triple-winner Elizabeth Schaller (Marilla/St. Mary's). A senior jumper-sprinter, Schaller moved up the Fredonia State record list in two events. Her 200-meter time of :27.54 is seventh all-time at the school and fourth in SUNYAC this season. In addition, she moved up to third in school history in the triple jump (10.96 meters), second best in the conference this winter. She also won the long jump (5.17 meters) with the fourth best SUNYAC mark this year. Freshman Julia Hopson (Poughkeepsie/Arlington) moved up to third all-time in the 20-pound weight throw with a first-place toss of 14.21 meters, second best in the conference. She was also second in the shot put (11.30 meters), which is fifth all-time at Fredonia State, and was third in the 55-meter dash (:07.94) in SUNYAC qualifying time. Senior Krista Morse (Freedom/Pioneer) moved up to eighth all-time in the 55-meter high hurdles. Her winning time of 9.11 seconds is fifth in the conference. She was also second in the long jump (4.79 meters) and third in the 200 meters in SUNYAC qualifying time (:28.54). In the high jump, freshman Lisa Rewinski (Westhampton Beach/Westhampton Beach) was second (1.57 meters). Her mark tied for third best all-time and is third in the SUNYAC this winter. In the mile, freshman Trisha Ippolito (Angola/Lake Shore) was first across the wire in 5:53.57. She was also second in the 1,000 meters (3:22.96). Junior Stephanie Milks (Binghamton/Chenango Valley) moved up to fourth in the SUNYAC in the 400 meters. Her 1:02.52 was good for second place. In her first collegiate meet, sophomore Nicole Smith (Amherst/Amherst) was clocked in 1:02.70 in the 400 meters, fifth best in SUNYAC, and finished second in the 200 meters with a SUNYAC qualifying time (:28.42). The Blue Devils were one-two in the 800 meters. The winning time of 2:21.02 by junior Rachel McNamara (Lakeview/Nardin) was a SUNYAC qualifying effort. Junior Aimee Milks (Binghamton/Chenango Valley) was second in 2:39.44. The winner of the pole vault was junior Erin Ross (Amherst/Amherst). She cleared 2.89 meters, breaking her own school record by nearly six inches. Fredonia State also won the 3,000 meters as senior Alison Morgan (Hilton/Hilton) was clocked in 12:02.71. Fredonia State had 151 points, Houghton was second with 87, and Erie Community College finished third with 36. The next meet is Friday, Feb. 10, at Baldwin Wallace.
