Women's Track & Field

Three make SUNYAC, NYSCTC standards

KENT, Ohio – Three Fredonia State women qualified for two indoor championship meets with their performances over the weekend at the Golden Flash Gala at Kent State.

Senior thrower Jennifer Galvin (Pompey/Fabius-Pompey), junior jumper Liz Schaller (Marilla/St. Mary's of Lancaster), and junior jumper Ginger Kincaid (Dewittville/Chautauqua Lake) all met SUNYAC and NYSCTC meet standards.

Galvin qualified in the 20-point weight throw, Schaller in the long jump and the triple jump, and Kincaid in the high jump.

Other SUNYAC qualifiers were senior Krista Morse (Freedom/Pioneer) in the high hurdles; sophomore Stephanie Milks (Binghamton/Chenango Forks) in the 200 meters and the 400 meters; sophomore Aimee Milks (Binghamton/Chenango Forks) in the 800 meters; freshman Samantha Ellwood (Hamburg/Hamburg) in the 800 meters and the 1,600 meters; sophomore Ashley Tramp (Buffalo/Kenmore East) in the 3,000 meters and the 5,000 meters; and senior Jennifer Martin (Buffalo/Mt. Mercy) and junior Alison Morgan (Hilton/Hilton) in the 5,000 meters.
