Galvin wins discus, moves up hammer list

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Jennifer Galvin (Pompey/Fabius-Pompey) won the women's discus April 10 at the University of Rochester Alumni Invitational.

Galvin's winning throw of 120'6" kept her second on the all-time outdoor discus list. She also moved into second place all-time in the hammer throw with a personal-best 133'9" She was second in the event, and fourth in the shot put (35'1").

Kelly Hagenbaugh Walworth/Gananda) had a season-best 5' 1/4" in the high jump. She was fifth in the event.

The Blue Devils return to action Saturday at Slippery Rock, Pa.
