The women finished fifth out of ten conference teams, while the men came in seventh out of eleven. Top Blue Devils were Jessica Bennett (Rochester/West Irondequoit) who finished 22nd in a time of 24:27. Samantha Ellwood (Hamburg) was 29th in 24:43 and Trisha Ippolito (Angola/Lake Shore) finished 29th in a time 24:55. As a team, the Devils were one point behind Plattsburgh for fourth place. Geneseo won the women's title. A total of 105 runners competed. Andy Forma was the top Blue Devil finisher for the men in 21st place, completing the course in a time of 27:19. Tom Williams (Queensbury) was 25th in 27:45, and Vinny Granata (Fallbrook, Calif.) was 28th in 27:57. Cortland took home the top team spot for the men. The Devils will compete in the New York State Championships on November 11.
