The Blue Devils are No. 7 -- up two spots from last week -- in the latest Atlantic Region rankings released Monday. Defending NCAA and SUNYAC champ Geneseo is No. 1 in the rankings, having received all 15 first-place votes, while Cortland (at No. 5) and Brockport (at No. 6) are directly ahead of the Blue Devils. Plattsburgh (at No. 9) is also ranked from among SUNYAC schools. The Blue Devils defeated Brockport and Plattsburgh as well as RIT (ranked No. 8) at the Geneseo meet. Meanwhile, the Blue Devil men, while unranked, were again listed among the teams also receiving votes in the weekly poll. The Blue Devils will participate Saturday at Nazareth College as a final prep for the SUNYAC Championships Oct. 21 at Beaver Island State Park on Grand Island, N.Y.
