Cross Country

Buffalo State meet results

FREDONIA, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State men's and women's cross country teams opened their seasons at the Buffalo State Invitational at Beaver Island State Park on Saturday.

The women finished fifth out of nine teams. Sophomore Jessica Bennett (Rochester/West Irondequoit) was the top Devil, crossing the finish line in a time of 20:07 on the 5K course, good enough for sixteenth place.

The men finished seventh of seven teams. The top Devil runner was freshman Andy Dunscombe (Endicott/Union-Endicott) who finished 30th in a time of 27:28.

Both teams will compete at the RIT Invitational next Saturday.
