Men, women compete at Edinboro Rag Relay

EDINBORO, Pa. -- The threesome of sophomore Tom Williams (Queensbury), freshman Josh Guarino (Bergen/Byron-Bergen), and senior Andy Forma (Elma/St. Francis) had Fredonia State's best time of the day Saturday at the Edinboro Rag Relay.

They combined for a clocking of 58:15, broken down into four 1,500-meter repeats by each of the three men. In addition, junior Chris Walters (Tonawanda/Sweet Home) turned in one leg of 4:47.

On the women's side, the threesome of junior Trisha Ippolito (Angola/Lake Shore), senior Samantha Ellwood (Hamburg), and sophomore Jessica Bennett (Rochester/West Irondequoit) had Fredonia State's best grouping of 53:05. The women ran three 1,500-meter legs each.

Both teams are back in action Saturday at the Geneseo Invitational.
