Hoffmann Atlantic Pre-Regional, hosted by St. Lawrence University. The Fredonia State men also improved on previous outings this fall. Senior Morgan Burrows (Lockwood/Waverly) was 15th overall to lead the Blue Devils to a fourth-place finish among 17 teams. She ran the six-kilometer course in 24:08. Twenty seconds back, in 29th place at 24:28, was sophomore Rachel McNamara (Lakeview/Nardin), followed by junior Kristen Veltz (Brockport/Brockport), senior Dani Pendl (Patchogue/Patchogue-Medford), and freshman Samantha Ellwood (Hamburg/Hamburg). Veltz was 38th (24:51), Pendl 39th (24:55), and Ellwood 43rd (25:02). Sophomores Aimee Milks (Binghamton/Chenango Forks) and Ashley Tramp (Buffalo/Kenmore East) rounded out Fredonia State's top seven. The Fredonia State men were 13th in a field of 19 teams. Freshman Michael Pond (Somers/Somers) was the top finisher for the Blue Devils with a 56th placing and a time of 28:01 for eight kilomters. Senior Chris Mills (Auburn/Auburn), back in competition after missing previous meets with an injury, was 81st in 28:41, while junior David Mink (Rensselaer/Columbia) was 82nd in 28:42.
