Head Coach: Katie Pucci-Schaefer

Former Fredonia State cheerleader Katie Pucci-Schaefer (at right in above photo) has assumed the head coaching duties of the Fredonia State cheerleading team. She and Monica White have been the Blue Devil co-coaches for several seasons prior to the White's departure following the 2003-04 competitive season.

Raised in Dunkirk-Fredonia, Pucci-Schaefer is a 1993 graduate of Fredonia State and a past three-year member of the cheering squad. Since joining the coaching staff, she has helped improve the team's tumbling and has helped develop more intricate stunts and transitions performed during cheers and routines.

She holds bachelor's and master's degrees in education. She has worked as an elementary and high school teacher and coached cheerleaders at Dunkirk and Fredonia high schools before joining White at Fredonia State.

Pucci-Schaefer and her husband, Todd, have three young daughters.
