Fredonia State Intramurals and Fredonia State Basketball held the
9th Annual Coaches vs. Cancer Charity Basketball Game on April 16th 2008 and the event was a huge success. Over two hundred supporters filled the bleachers and cheered on an exciting game in which the black team won 80-78. They also witnessed a thrilling Slam Dunk contest competitors and performances by the Fredonia State Dance Team and the a cappella group, Much More Chill. We would like to thank our local sponsors and campus groups who donated money and prizes... Dunkin Donuts, Pizza, Wings ‘N Things, General Mills, Clark & Whipple LLP, Total Tan, Evergreen Outfitters, and DJ Noxious. Overall, we raised over $1,300 towards the fight against cancer, we look foward to seeing you next year!
