A GAME OF FIRSTS
Fredonia State senior goaltender Kyle Yelich made his first collegiate start Saturday his his teammates gave him all the support he needed in a 7-1 victory over Western New England College. Yelich stopped 27 of 28 shots he faced while Bryan Ross had a hat trick and two other Blue Devils scored their first collegiate goals. The visiting Plattsburgh Cardinals, ranked No. 3 in NCAA Division III, rolled to a 10-2 SUNYAC victory Saturday at the Steele Hall Ice Arena. Among the Blue Devil goals was the second in two nights by Jeff Aonso, above, who scores on a short shot to the right of Plattsburgh goaltender Ryan Williams.

The Devils picked up thier second road win of the weekend, clipping Brockport, 5-3. The Devils broke a 3-3 tie by scoring twice in the third period. Chris de Bruyn had a four-point game, with a goal and two assists.
