Morgan Reisch
Morgan Reisch (Fairport) was a double individual winner in the Blue Devils' home win Nov. 14 over Alfred University. Reisch was first in the 400-yard individual medley (5:00.32) and the 100-yard butterfly (1:03.95).

Eddie Novara
Eddie Novara (Angola)
finished 22nd with a time of 25:46 for 8,000 meters at the NCAA Division III Atlantic Regional. His strong finish enabled him to earn All Atlantic Region honors as well as a place in the NCAA championship race Nov. 21 in northeast Ohio, sponsored by Baldwin-Wallace College.

Sarah ZureckVolleyball
ZURECK NAMED ALL-AMERICAN
Sophomore libero-defensive specialist Sarah Zureck has been honorable mention All-American, the first Fredonia State volleyball player to ever receive the honor.

PAIR RECEIVE REGIONAL HONORS
Two Fredonia State women have received NCAA Division III regional awards from the American Volleyball Coaches Association. Sarah Zureck, left, was chosen New York Region First Team and Kaitlin Erdmann received honorable mention.

CLOSE LOSS AT BEHREND
The Blue Devils held a four-point lead at the half, but could not hold off Penn State Behrend, dropping a 69-65 road game. 

ELMIRA DOWNS DEVILS IN OPENER
Fredonia State opened opened its regular season with a 83-77 loss at Elmira College.

The Devils dropped a 61-46 game at Nazareth. Katie Landy led the Devils with 15 points.

NOVARA MAKES NCAA FIELD
Fredonia State will be represented at the NCAA Division III Cross Country championships. 

MEN 7TH AT ATLANTIC REGIONAL; WOMEN BOUNCE BACK
Fredonia State participated Saturday in the NCAA Atlantic Regional meet at Letchworth State Park.

STREET, HEHR EARN SUNYAC HONORS
SUNYAC's top goaltender and rookie this week are Fredonia State Blue Devils.

DEVILS PICK UP ROAD WIN AT BROCKPORT
The Devils picked up thier second road win of the weekend, clipping Brockport, 5-3. The Devils broke a 3-3 tie by scoring twice in the third period. Chris de Bruyn had a four-point game, with a goal and two assists.

DEVILS, ALFRED SPLIT 
The Fredonia State women were winners over Alfred, while the Blue Devil men were defeated Friday inside the Steele Hall Natatorium.

SMITH WINS ROOKIE AWARD
Fredonia State freshman Ryan Smith,left, is the 2009 SUNYAC Rookie of the Year in a vote of conference coaches. Coach of the Year and Player of the Year awards were also made by the conference.
