ECAC BID AND SUNYAC KUDOS
Fredonia State accepted a bid Monday to play in the ECAC Upstate New York men's basketball tournament Friday at St. John Fisher. In addition, head coach Kevin Moore and junior guard Brad Cooper have received SUNYAC post-season awards.

Fredonia State's bid to win its first SUNYAC championship since 1993 ended Saturday with a 64-59 loss to Brockport in the tournament title game at SUNY Oswego.

Houghton College downed the Devils, 63-57, in Dods Hall on Tuesday. Houghton's hot shooting from beyond the arc (6 for 8) in the first half, and free throw shooting (21 of 27) in the second half proved to be the difference.
