Soccer facilities

Stadium #1

University Stadium

The men's and women's soccer game field is a 120-yard by 75-yard state-of-the-art grass field with drainage. The facility includes a 1,500-seat bleacher stand, lights, and 20-foot fences behind European professional-style goals. A Grand Opening ceremony was held September 7, 2007, with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony in front over 1,500 spectators. To see photos of the event, click on the above link.

NCAA banners

In the fall of 2008 at the 50 Years of Men's Soccer celebration NCAA Banners from 1984-1987, 1993-1995 and most recently the 2005 Elite Eight banner and the 2007 First Round banner were unveiled. Additionally, the NAIA banners of 1971, 1972, 1973, 1975 drape the fencing behind each goal. Each banner was chosen to represent many of the most successful seasons in the program's 50-year history. Phase II

Phase II of the $5 million dollar facility was christened on September 11, 2009 with the second of two ribbon cutting ceremonies in three years time. It includes team rooms, a locker room for game officials, a working press box, a video deck, a ticketing area, and a concession stand. There is also be a circular driveway entrance to the main gate.  With the completion of University Stadium Fredonia State now is host to one of the top soccer venues in not only the northeast but all of college soccer.

Turf Field

The men's and women's soccer practice field is a 120-yard by 80-yard pitch. It serves as the training facility for pre-season, day and evening practices, and the spring season, as well as the home to the women's lacrosse team, plus numerous club and intramural events. The facility includes a scoreboard, lights, and bleacher seating for 500. The turf field includes 20-foot fencing behind the goals and logos at each end of the field.

Fitness Center

The Fitness Center contains top-of-the-line Nautilus and Cybex equipment, an Olympic lifting platform, power racks, cardiovascular equipment, free weights, medicine balls, and more. The Fitness Center is reserved for varsity athletes every weekday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
