Head Coach: Lorrie Corsi

Lorrie Corsi became a two-time SUNYAC Coach of the Year following a record-setting 2004 season.
Corsi received the 2004 award after guiding the Blue Devils to a 26-15 record, 15-8 against SUNYAC competition. Both 2004 win totals represent Fredonia State school records in softball.
He was also the 2000 SUNYAC Coach of the Year.
Fredonia State surprised the opposition with its 2004 success. Conference coaches, in their preseason poll, picked the Blue Devils to finish seventh out of 11 teams. Instead, the Blue Devils tied for fourth place and made the SUNYAC Tournament for the third time.
At the 2004 tournament, the Blue Devils eliminated Geneseo before falling to eventual-champion Oneonta and runner-up Cortland. The victory over Geneseo was the second post-season victory in program history.
Corsi has coached the Blue Devils in all 10 seasons of their existence after coaching numerous amateur teams to championships. He has three 20-win seasons to his credit.
Corsi's softball background dates back to his playing days in the highly competitive Dunkirk Recreation Commission City League. He later coached youth teams in the Dunkirk Little League, including all-star teams which went on to local and regional success. In 1991, he coached Dunkirk Little League to an Eastern Regional title. He also has held coaching positions at Dunkirk High School and the former Cardinal Mindszenty High School in Dunkirk.
Corsi attended Fredonia State University prior to serving with the United States Army military police. He has served as the human resources director for the Fredonia State Faculty Student Association for 15 years.
