The men's team won its first meet of the season, downing Nazareth, 193-102, in Steele Hall Natatorium on Saturday. Mike Seay way a quadruple winner, while Al Palmquist won three times. The women dropped a dual meet to Nazareth and Ithaca.

BLUE DEVIL WOMEN CLAIM TITLE; MEN ARE CLOSE SECOND
The Fredonia State women claimed the Fifth Annual Blue Devil Invitational team title, outpointing four other schools - Baldwin-Wallace, Oswego, Behrend and Pitt-Bradford. The men finished second, just 54.5 points behind Baldwin-Wallace. They outscored Oswego, Behrend, Pitt-Bradford and Alfred State.
