What We Do
SUNY Fredonia’s Music Industry Club, better known as “MIC”, is a great way to jump head first into the music industry. MIC is a Student Association Chartered group, run by students and is under the advisement of Music Industry Professor Armand Petri. On campus and in the community, students learn about the challenges and rewards of the music industry through real life experience. The club organizes and hosts many major events throughout the year including open mic nights, on- and off-campus shows, field trips, Battle of the New Bands, and The Life is Art Festival. MIC offers extracurricular opportunities that allow students to practice the concepts they learn in class. MIC meets every Tuesday at 8:30 in 209 McEwen. Come check us out! To see a list of our events, please see the Music Industry Calendar. The E-boardThe E-board is responsible for running MIC and all of its events.
