AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

 

Assessment (Self-Improvement of Unit)

 

Mission

To seek out and provide for the continuing education needs of the college's many diversified publics

through the design and implementation of appropriate programs and services, including credit courses,

credit-free seminars, institutes and workshops, summer session programs, international study opportunities, small business support services, etc.

 

Goals/Objective

To increase summer session enrollment and tuition income levels by fifteen percent per year for the next

two years.

To increase credit program enrollments by ten percent a year for the next two years.

To increase international student and study abroad enrollments by ten percent per year for the next two years.

 

Measures of Goals

Review and analysis of annual summer session enrollment and revenue reports.

Review and analysis of annual credit program enrollment reports

Examination of international student and study abroad status reports.

 

Expected Results

It is anticipated that the unit will achieve, or surpass, its three primary goals and objectives.

 

Feedback into the Unit

The results obtained through the review and analysis of annual enrollment. and revenue reports will enable

staff to more adequately assess effectiveness of outreach and student support activities. Great care will be

taken to insure that such feedback is used to modify, if necessary, second year goals and objectives.
