Leadership Development at SUNY Fredonia

Mission Statement: The Leadership Development Program educates students through experiential education and skills based training. We offer classes, workshops, special events and club involvement opportunities to develop student leaders. Our curriculum focuses on self-awareness, group development, leadership theories, and the changing nature of leadership. Students can expect an interdisciplinary approach to the study of leadership that will serve them well in any career path that they may choose.

The Campus Life office coordinates leadership workshops known as the Leadership Development Program, houses a  Leadership Resource Center located in the Williams Center, and advises leadership clubs such as Leadership Corps.  A leadership minor through interdisciplinary studies is also available to students.  As part of the Advanced Leadership Development classes curricula, students are expected to create leadership projects of their choice within the established guidelines.  CLICK HERE for more information, pictures and highlights from these projects.
