Resume Review Checklist
Use this checklist before bringing your draft to the CDO for a critique and before making multiple copies of your resume.

| Have I included all of the information related to my situation that is suggested in Career Guide R3, Resumes: What to Include? | ||
| When referring to this university, have I used the following names only? State University of New York at Fredonia (for the first reference) either SUNY at Fredonia or SUNY Fredonia for all others | ||
| Have I eliminated "Fredonia, NY" after the name of this university? | ||
| Have I carefully edited my text to eliminate unnecessary words? | ||
| Have I been consistent in the placement of similar types of information within each section (job title, dates, organization, etc.)? | ||
| Does the format of my resume make my most important qualifications obvious to the reader in a 20 or 30 second skimming? | ||
| Was my resume written with specific types of positions in mind? | ||
