Chris is enrolled in a Master's degree program after earning his B.S. degree in May, 2002. Chris continues to work under the guidance of Dr. Michael Milligan. Under the EPA umbrella, with funding from LOADS (Lake Ontario Atmospheric Deposition Study), his project's goal is to study what semi-volatiles are going into and out of the lake, so Chris has been collecting air samples in various parts of New York State. He then tests them for PAH's (poly aromatic hydrocarbons) and dioxin, using the GS-MS (gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer). Chris teaches two sections of general chemistry and is interested in doing more work with crystallography under the supervision of Dr. Tom Janik.
