Here we see Bryan with the new Ion Chromatograph. Under the supervision of Dr. Michael Milligan, Bryan will get this instrument up and running. It will be used to analyze the acid-rain rainwater and other research projects. The ion chromatograph detects the presence of anions such as halogens, nitrates, sulfates and phosphates. It can also detect metallic cations. Bryan will use this instrument in his undergraduate research for the next two semesters.
