Mr. Joe Pietro transferred to SUNY- Fredonia
from SUNY- Buffalo as a Master’s candidate during the summer of 2004, and is currently
working under the direction of Dr. Sherri Mason. The overall goal of the project on
which Joe is working is the inclusion of a gas/particle portioning model into a
regional atmospheric chemical transport model (the EPA Models-3/CMAQ) in order
to understand the atmospheric fate of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs).
Joe is writing the code for the gas/particle partitioning module, which will
need to be tested in a stand-alone fashion before inclusion in the regional
atmospheric model.
