A native of Fairport, NY, Ryan is graduating with a dual major. He has earned his B.S. in chemistry and in philosophy. Ryan says he enjoyed taking philosophy courses and eventually realized he had enough to complete a major. Ryan’s interest in chemistry is inorganic, analytical and instrumental. He is the current operator of the mass spectrometer/mass analyzer, under the guidance of Dr. Philip Kumler. Ryan served as a teaching assistant for organic lab, and presented a research project at SRCE (Student Research and Creativity Exposition) last spring. After graduation, Ryan will look for a job in the chemical industry. He has worked at many different service jobs and is open for new opportunities.
