Chemistry Club is an active, student-run organization within the SUNY Fredonia Chemistry Department. Membership is open to all SUNY Fredonia students (You do NOT need to be a chemistry major to join!) Participation in Chemistry Club is a great resume booster, and if you are interested in education, science demos are a great way to get hands-on experience outside of the classroom. We are always open to ideas and suggestions, so let us know if there is an activity you would like us to get involved in!

For Spring 2008 we are meeting Thursday nights at 6:30 pm in the second floor lounge of Houghton.

Activities from the 2007-2008 academic year:
  • Toronto Trip
  • Valentine’s Day Carnation Sale
  • Science Picnic
  • Science Demos for Girl Scouts and 5th Graders
  • Movie Nights
  • Chemistry Department Holiday Party
  • Halloween Party/Movie Night
  • Tutoring at Fredonia High School

Every spring semester Chem Club goes on a trip. Members who participate in fundraising and other events are able to go on this trip for FREE! This spring, we are going to Toronto for three days and two nights to visit the science museum and zoo.
