The Department of Computer and Information Sciences at Fredonia offers undergraduate programs in Computer Science and Computer Information Systems and a graduate program of Advanced Certificate in Cybersecurity. Our carefully designed programs prepare you for the fast paced world of computing technology and information security. Our courses are industry-oriented and focused towards real-world problem solving.

 Overview of artificial intelligence tools and techniques; searching algorithms, genetic algorithms, logical agents, logic based inference, classical planning, and learning. |  An introduction to the algorithms, concepts and applications of machine learning. |  Intro to Robotics joins hardware and software to build simple autonomous robots using easily obtained, low cost components. Students learn curcuits, sendors, and simpleAI while also exploring the societal and ethical issues of robotics. |
