2012-2013 TEC E-board
President- Lia Biscardi
Lia Biscardi is a sophomore at SUNY Fredonia pursuing a degree in Adolescent Education with concentrations in Biology and Chemistry. Lia has been involved in TEC since freshman year, and she is taking on the role of President after a successful run as the Civil Engagement Chair. She has always wanted a future career as an educator and she feels that helping others get one step closer to their dream of becoming educators will create a sense of community in the College of Education. Being an Adolescent Science Education major puts her in the minority of the Education majors, and she can reach out to those few incoming Adolescent Science Education majors and describe her experience and assist in answering questions. As Civil Engagement Chair, Lia coordinated on- and off-campus volunteer activities to give the TEC members a choice of varying volunteer activities. Lia is extremely dedicated to finding a cure for cancer and heads the TEC team for Relay for Life, which occurs during the spring semester. As for other activities, Lia is involved in Italian Club, the Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society, and the Golden Key Honor Society.
Stephanie Rosa is currently a sophomore studying Childhood Inclusive Education with a middle school extension. Her concentration is in history. This will be her second year in TEC and first e-board position. She loves learning more about teaching through all of the extra advice from the professors here. TEC has helped her realize that there are so many connections for teaching opportunities around the Fredonia and Dunkirk areas as well. She is also involved with Relay For Life and the swim team. TEC is always encouraging new members and hopes to have a successful 2012-2013 year!
Kristina Mazur is a senior early childhood education major with a concentration in English. She loves being involved and TEC is another piece of her active campus involvement. As vice president of special events, Kristina organizes special functions and events held by the club. Her main events are the fall Dress for Success Fashion Show and the Spring Children’s Festival held annually in downtown Fredonia. Kristina loves working with small children at her job back home and volunteers to work with young students every chance she gets. Kristina also serves as Resident Hall Association President, gives campus tours, is an active participant on the Senior Class committee, and loves being on TEC e-board and meeting other education majors!
Kelsey Korzelius is currently a sophomore studying Childhood Education with a concentration in music. This is her third semester as an active member of TEC and her first semester as a member of the Executive Board. TEC has helped Kelsey meet new people in the Education Department as well as in the Dunkirk Fredonia community and provided many useful resources for her anticipated teaching career. She has participated in many TEC events including the Out of the Darkness Walk, Relay for Life, and Children's Fest. In addition to TEC, Kelsey is also a member of Figure Skating club and a caterer for FSA. Kelsey is very excited and proud to be part of such a wonderful and resourceful club.
Ellie Brion is a sophomore Childhood Inclusive Education major with a Middle School Extension in math and a school and counseling psychology minor. She loves anything to do with schools and wants to be able to work in them however she can. Ever since she was little she has known that she wanted to teach-- she'd often speak in her "teacher voice" when her little brother was misbehaving. This is her second year in TEC and first e-board position. She is the treasurer of TEC and for Colleges Against Cancer as well, and is actively involved with Relay For Life and the swim team. She loves learning all sorts of new information from different faculty around campus, so TEC is very important. She is excited to be a member on the E-board and have all of the wonderful opportunities TEC offers!

She is really excited to be in this position on the E-Board and believe that participating in TEC is a great college experience for everyone.
